Regarded as one of the top artists in his field, his dramatic impressionist paintings capture western landscapes and the cowboy way of life. Dove knew at an early age what he wanted to do. He put himself through college by selling his original artwork. And, as they say, the rest is history.

His art has been purchased by corporations like Coca-Cola, Master Card and Ocean Spray.

Designated as the Official Artist for Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure, the inaugural race for Texas Motor Speedway, the Colonial Golf Tournament in Forth Worth, Texas and the Appaloosa National Show.

For over 20 years Dove has participated in recognizing the Hotter-N-Hell Hundred Bicycle Race with paintings and prints depicting scenes from the nationally known race.

His clients include Leann Rimes, Nick Price, ZZ Top, Dennis Conners and Randy White just to name a few.

Dove is drawn to western art. He is inspired by the landscapes and folklore of his native Texas. He enjoys creating paintings with western themes to include cowboys, roping, riding and horses. Each western art creation comes from a desire to portray the western way of life in stunning “I feel like I am there” realism.
